Tyrin Turner, yesteryear
Turner, 42, also starred in another cult classic, 1995’s Panther, a Mario van Peebles picture that chronicled the rise and fall of the Black Panther Party of Oakland, Calif. Afterwards, Turner was seen in Hype Williams’ 1998 film Belly. Today, Turner is starring opposite Nichole Galicia in Jamie Foxx’s upcoming short film for Canon’s Project Imagination which was filmed in Brooklyn, N.Y., earlier this month.
