‘Zane’ star, Amin Joseph, bares his chest for TV

Hollywood can be a crazy place. Did you get inspiration for your role from personal experiences?
Listen; I wouldn’t want to just step out there and call a woman a jump-off, but we do know what it is. Hollywood is a very interesting place, and there are women that I’m sure that some would classify as jump-offs. So yes, I was able to pull from personal experiences, and also from just talking to other guys as well. I have friends who have been through an array of those types of situations, so I don’t always have to pull from my personal life.

Speaking of your personal life, how different is it being in Hollywood now, when you built your life in New York. The sensitivities of those places are so different.
Truthfully, I’m blessed to have a great support system from my family and friends, so I really don’t feel any different now that I live in Los Angeles, versus New York. Technology has made the world so much smaller, so I don’t ever feel disconnected from home … I do get homesick from time to time, but I never feel too far from my roots.
