I think Twitter can best describe Dwyane Wade’s fantastic, all-around Game 4 performance to pull the Miami Heat even with the San Antonio Spurs in the 2013 NBA finals:

As another Twitter respondent pointed out, D-Wade had a Back to the Future moment as he became the first person since Allen Iverson 12 years ago to score at least 30 points with six rebounds, six steals and four assists in an NBA Finals. And when you add the two blocks and one monster crossover dunk on the fast break, it was a virtuoso performance from one of the greatest two guards in NBA history, enough to lead the Heat to a commanding 109-93 win over the Spurs. LeBron James was the leading scorer with 33 points and Chris Bosh added 20 points and 11 rebounds to go along with a couple of blocks.

How quickly things change. Until Game 4, no one for the Heat has scored 20 points in a game in the 2013 Finals, but all of the Big Three crossed that threshold in a single evening.

But the story of the night was D-Wade who re-emerged from the depths of irrelevance to steal the shine from his more celebrated MVP of a teammate. Sportswriters and b-ball fans took note. This is what they had to say:
