Chad Johnson reveals income, reportedly too broke to pay bills

No one had a worse week than Chad Johnson. And things just keep getting worse. After being sentence to 30 days in jail last week for slapping his lawyer on the butt, Johnson has now revealed his shrinking monthly income and claims he’s too broke to pay his bills.

Johnson has been battling the mothers of his multiple children for months to get his child support payments reduced, arguing that his income has dropped since he was dropped from the Miami Dolphins last year.

And, according to TMZ, Johnson filed court documents in April claiming that his monthly income is now only $3,000, which is far from enough to pay for the $16,525 he already pays in child support.

Aside from his child support payments, Johnson’s bills also include $9,063.24 in mortgage payments, $2,500 for food, $2,650 on car expenses, $3,500 on clothing, $250 for grooming, $5,000 on entertainment, $1,000 for pet expenses along with various other expenses that total $31,154.76.

All in all, Johnson’s monthly bills, including child support, total up to $45,982.76 per month.

Surprisingly, back in January, Johnson claimed that he earned an average of $66,104.66 a month for 2012, despite not having an NFL salary.

Despite the steep drop in income, Johnson’s assets seem to be intact as he still owns two houses, two cars, and a few bank accounts, totaling in $4,720,672.57 in assets.

Clearly, Johnson’s either going to have to sell some of his assets or convince a judge to lower his child support payments. Either way, things seem like they’re still going to continue going downhill, both personally and financially, for Johnson.
