George Lucas and Mellody Hobson wed
George Lucas is officially a married man now that he’s tied the knot with his longtime love, Mellody Hobson. Lucas, 69, and Hobson, 44, have been dating since 2006.
The Star Wars director wed the President of Ariel Investments, LLC., Saturday in a private ceremony at his Skywalker ranch. Journalist Bill Moyers officiated the ceremony and former Senator Bill Bradley walked Hobson down the aisle.
The newlyweds have since been showered with congratulatory messages from celebs including Samuel L. Jackson who played the role of Jedi Master Mace Windu in Lucas’ Star Wars films.
