Singer-songwriter The-Dream let his annoyance show on Twitter after a fan tweeted a comment about the star’s latest album, IV Play. After the fan implied that the project was a commercial flop, the Grammy-winning artist was quick to go off and explain just how little he cares about album sales these days.

“@sinfulreligion AND……. but what changed?” The-Dream tweeted, before listing his material wealth. “Boat,Maybach, my kids Rich? Unless the 43k I sold affected ure life style this ain’t the 90s.”

The-Dream went on to explain exactly why he isn’t concerned with selling huge album numbers.

“Spend 7 million I’m promo and Marketing and to sell 300k,” he tweeted. “N—a please. Just to say you did good. N—a ima make 5mil on sync fees idgof.”

“I’m in the Publishing business yall can play along with that buy my own album Game,” the hitmaker continued. “I appreciate it if I only sold one Album. House Money.”

After fans pointed out that he was on a tirade, The-Dream pulled back, but not without reminding everyone of what he does.

“Lol I’m not ranting just kept it one hunded,” he claimed. “Nothing Changed. I will still be Paid to create another Classic, why. Because I’m Dope. True”
