Kenya Moore stops eviction

After being evicted for reportedly failing to pay her rent, a “Real Housewife of Atlanta” has apparently been given a second chance.  Kenya Moore is apparently off the hook when it comes to her reported eviction from a six-bedroom, six-bathroom mansion.

Reps for the former Miss USA confirm that she now has July 9 court date where she will be able to plead her case to a judge.

According to Access Atlanta, Moore is currently battling her landlady, Conya Dillon, who filed a motion last Friday for an “expedited hearing on shortened notice” to have Moore removed from her Roswell rental home.

“Defendant [Moore] has created a media circus in a desperate attempt to maintain relevancy as a reality TV personality while maliciously attacking plaintifff’s character,” Dillon’s filing states.

Moore’s lease was reportedly up at the end of May, around the same time an eviction notice was filed against her for failing to pay $848 in rent. Moore says she tried to extend her rental 60 days, which Dillon did not accept.

Dillon and Moore will square off in court in the forthcoming weeks.

Moore recently told TV host ,Wendy Williams that she planned to move out of the home in July and had placed a $6,000 security deposit upfront and was never in arrears.
