Comedian D.L. Hughley defended Rachel Jeantel on the Tom Joyner Morning Show, Friday while giving commentary on the trial.
“It is amazing how low people stoop to justify the killing of a juvenile. […] What they’re doing to this little girl Rachel Jeantel, maybe she doesn’t have the best grasp of the English language but she still knows what she … heard. Maybe she can’t articulate it the way we’d like but she’s still up there, doing the best she can.
Hughley also said that Zimmerman deserved to be called a “creepy a– cracker” for following Trayvon Martin.
