Ralph Bellamy and Don Ameche, then — One of the few times in Hollywood history where actors played the same characters in two separate and unrelated movies. In both, Bellamy and Ameche played Randolph & Mortimer Duke, two pompously and obscenely rich snobs, first in the film Trading Places (also starring Murphy with Dan Akroyd, and then making brief cameos as bums in Coming to America.
