After confirming Sunday that she was engaged to her fellow basketball playing beau, Monica Wright has become a hot topic of discussion and trending topic. As previously reported Wright, 24, is set to marry Kevin Durant, 24, after he proposed on July 6. The twosome have known each other since the 2006 McDonald’s High School All-American Game and have kept their relationship relatively private.
“A lot of it has to do with basketball,” Wight recently told Fox Sports about her relationship. “That’s how we’ve known each other. But he’s helped me, coached me. He’s actually a type of player I want to be like.”
