For four years, actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson has enjoyed life as a fictional married man on ABC’s “Modern Family.” Though he certainly loves his fictional gay husband, Ferguson has a real-life husband of his own now that he recently married his longtime boyfriend, Justin Mikita.
According to People, Ferguson and Mikita tied the knot, after two years of dating, this past Saturday in downtown New York City in a ceremony officiated by playwright and screenwriter Tony Kushner.

Ferguson’s TV husband, Stonestreet, also seemed to be taking his fake hubby’s wedding in stride and even offered to keep their pseudo flame going, despite the nuptials.

Although the couple reportedly spared no expense when it came to providing their guests with great drinks, they did spare their guests from having to give them gifts, and instead asked them to donate to the marriage equality charity Tie The Knot, to help other same-sex couples win equal rights in other states.
