O’Reilly believes that he has found the single solution to save black America from crime. However, it’s a solution that fails to answer larger issues. While black fathers are essential, it’s more important for young black kids to have access to good teachers, to have parents or a parent with a steady income, to experience life outside of their neighborhoods, to feel safe within their own neighborhoods and to have mentors who can build their confidence. Because, oddly enough, the leader of the free world, Barack Obama, was raised by a single parent.
