New York governor Eliot Spitzer resigned as governor in 2008 after the IRS discovered that he attempted to transfer $10,000 to a business called Emperor’s Club. It was soon discovered that it was a service for call girls. Spitzer’s most noted call-girl was Ashley Dupre. He paid $1,000 per hour for her services.
