Jill Scott continues to find new ways to express herself creatively. The Philly-raised soul singer will appear in the new film “Baggage Claim.” Scott recently sat down with rolling out to discuss the new film, love and her music. She also shared her thoughts on how love is approached has evolved.
“Love is hard. Finding someone to love can be the hard part, but infatuation is easy. We can get caught up in someone’s look, but we don’t take the time to get to know the person. We’re into someone for a few months and then we’re off to the next. Love is bigger than the emotion in the moment. It requires patience, communication and mutual respect. Sometimes we search for immediate gratification with the hopes that it will last. Finding love can be hard,” Scott said.
