Black teen suspect on the run for death of 88-year-old WWII veteran

The state of Washington has launched a nationwide manhut for Kenan Adams-Kinard, 16, one of two teens suspected of beating an 88-year-old World War II veteran to death. The incident occurred in the parking lot at Eagles Lodge in Spokane, Wash. A survivor of the Battle of Okinawa (Japan) Delbert “Shorty” Belton, 88, was found with serious head injuries that led to his death.


Adams-Kinard’s alleged underaged accomplice has turned himself in to authorities and is charged with robbery and first degree murder.
