Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Mary Lambert and Jennifer Hudson
Macklemore’s pro-LGBT anthem “Same Love” was already powerful enough to garner him a VMA win and when he hit the stage to perform the hit song with singer Mary Lambert he proved why he earned the coveted Moonman. But the performance was made even better by a cameo from J. Hud as she went vocal blow for blow with Lambert and filled the stage and the song with spirit.
