Robin Thicke‘s profile has raised considerably since this summer’s megahit “Blurred Lines.” The R&B crooner seems to be enjoying his newfound crossover fame, and it looks like he’s getting bolder with the ladies. Thicke was spotted hanging out at a MTV Video Music Awards after party last weekend, and he got very touchy-feely with a female fan.
New York socialite Lana Scolaro wanted to take a photo during a party when the singer happily obliged. Once Scolaro posted the photo on Instagram, fans went nuts because it’s clear from the mirror behind them, that the very-married Thicke has his hand all over Scolaro’s rear.
Thicke and Scolaro snapped their pic as Thicke’s wife, actress Paula Patton, was across the room partying. In an interview with Celebuzz, Scolaro said that she didn’t think much would come of the photo.
“I knew his hand was on my butt. I posted it on Instagram and didn’t notice the reflection,” said Scolaro. “But someone noticed it and commented. I was just like, ‘Oh I’ll Instagram this photo with Robin Thicke,’ like everybody else. I didn’t think it would cause this much drama. I didn’t know it would be all over everything like this.”
Scolaro also implied that Thicke has been pursuing her lately.
“We have mutual friends in common,” she shared. “I actually met him a week before the after party. I was actually going over to the DJ booth and he followed me. His security guard took the photo and said, ‘You guys make a cute couple.’
