DJ Mister Cee resigns
Mister Cee, a prominent New York City deejay, has resigned from his position after being accused, once again, of soliciting a male prostitute. DJ Mister Cee of Hot 97 fame announced his resignation today after a scandal involving a YouTube star.
“A lot of people are misunderstanding this situation,” said Cee on-air. “Today is my last Day at Hot 97. It’s time for me to take care of myself because there are situations when I try to do the right thing, a setback happens. I’m good, I’m safe, I’m happy, I’m blessed but the last thing you want to do is hurt people you love and I love this station. I love Hot 97.”
Just before Cee’s resignation, a video uploaded by YouTube star Bimbo Winehouse surfaced attempting to expose him. In the video Winehouse said Cee mistook him for a male prostitute and picked him up off a city street. Unbeknownst to Cee, however, the online star recorded audio of their encounter.
This week’s allegation marks the third time Cee has been accused of soliciting sex from a man. Cee was arrested in May for attempting to pick up a male prostitute and was arrested for public lewdness and exposure of a person after he was caught receiving oral sex from a male sex worker in 2011.
