With K. Michelle having departed from “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” producer Mona Scott-Young was definitely in need of a new cast member on the show to keep things lively. For weeks now, rumors have claimed that Waka Flocka Flame was joining the cast. Now, the rapper is finally opening up about the rumors and confirming that he will be a part of next season.
During a recent appearance on Power 105’s “The Breakfast Club,” Waka revealed that his fiancée, Tami Rivera, is the one who will be joining the main cast while he will just play a supporting role because of her.
“I’m not doing ‘Love & Hip Hop,’ my fiancée’s doing ‘Love & Hip Hop,’” Waka explained, saying that he’ll appear on one or two episodes.
Rivera then confirmed the news to fans with a retweet and a short and simple message of her own.

Waka wouldn’t confirm or deny the rumors that Rivera is making $500,000 to appear on the show next season, but he’s happy that the show is putting more money in her bank account.
“I ain’t gotta buy no more purses or shoes. Those Christian Louboutins are crazy!” Waka joked.
Hopefully, Rivera’s role will not only put money in her purse but also help her and Waka to boost their star power to superstar levels.
