Chicago park shooting leaves 13 injured
A mass shooting overnight left 13 people with injuries, including a toddler. Authorities report that a 3-year-old is in critical condition after being shot at Chicago’s Cornell Square Park late Thursday. The child was shot through the ear in what police suspect was a gang-related incident. The bullet exited through the child’s mouth.
Also shot were two 15-year-olds who are in stable condition as well as four adults whose condition is serious.
The adult victims range in age from 21 to 41.
So far no one has been arrested in connection with the crime.
