Tami and Evelyn inspire a cancer patient
On a more positive note, Shaunie, Evelyn and Tami visit a fan of the show, Michelle, who claims that she got a life-saving mammogram after she saw Evelyn and Tami get mammograms last season. Michelle explains that doctors caught her cancer early and that she’s grateful to the “BBW” ladies for inspiring her to get a mammogram, something many women of color don’t do. The ladies, who have all been touched by cancer, are grateful that something positive came out of their show and they explain that Michelle is their true inspiration.
