Your production and songwriting is most important. Be honest about your talents. If you’re just a great singer, team up with great songwriter and producer and vice versa. Every songwriter isn’t an artist. If you’re an artist, make sure you look the part. Production-wise, make sure your music is fresh and up-to-date. You don’t want to be the one making excuses for your artistic performance.
