Mayte hits a bump in the adoption road
Mayte has been waiting for weeks to hear back that her adoption of Gia is finalized. However, when her lawyer does finally give her an update, she learns that she will have to wait several weeks for a court to get to her case and then several more weeks after that to hear a final decision on the adoption. Mayte and her mother are devastated and Mayte cries as she explains that she can’t bear losing another kid.
