While many who watch Hollywood closely would think that the standard for beauty is … well … Caucasian, some of America’s most successful celebrities have made a career putting their multiple nationalities to use in order to snag numerous racially ambiguous roles.

Yes, Hollywood is more color struck than ever and it’s sad. The fairer you are, the more likely you are to catch a big break. But whether we agree, that is just the way of our post-racial society.

  1. I love all of the colorful terms used to describe these people… Unfortunately, in the good ole US of A they are just plain ole black. I love Vin Diesel’s take on it though…

  2. Notya Biznes, you are so incredibly wrong that it hurts. People like Wentworth Miller, Paula Patton and Rashida Jones would be viewed differently then a “plain ole black.” The reason is because they’re attractive people, have a look that is interesting and safe to plain ole whites.
