Peter and his love triangle
Rich and Yandy show up for Amina’s showcase to see if they want to sign the burgeoning Peter Gunz protégé to their new label, and although things seem normal as Peter introduces Amina to the gang and even his girlfriend of 13 years, Tara Wallace. But after the showcase, Peter and Amina go back to the studio and we watch them reveal that they’ve been having an affair for the past year. Amina wants Peter all to herself and although he spends many nights with her, he’s torn between his soul mate, Tara, and the woman he’s falling in love with. After too many nights away, Tara gets suspicious and confronts Peter about cheating, which he denies. Later on at another showcase, Peter spills the beans to Rich, who calls Peter on mixing business with pleasure just like he did with Erica. Rich is intent on nipping things in the bud and confronts Amina, alone, about the affair. But Amina pulls a major surprise out of her hat when she claims that Peter secretly married her and she shows off a “Mrs. Pankey” tattoo to prove it.
