NeNe Leakes and Kenya Moore are squaring off this season over real and perceived slights, disses and alleged jealousies.
Moore fired the first shots, bitterly accusing Leakes of abandoning the former Miss USA when she needed her the most during her unceremonious ouster from an upscale mansion she rented in the upscale Atlanta neighborhood of Buckhead.
Leakes volleyed back her own verbal grenades, summarily dismissing Moore’s infantile rants and saying she didn’t have time to immerse herself in someone else’s problems when she was dealing with her own drama over her wedding to Gregg Leakes.
According to a new Wetpaint entertainment report published on Oct. 31, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes and Kenya Moore were supposedly not getting along because Kenya felt abandoned by NeNe.
On the newest season of the show, Leakes gets up in Leakes’ grill about her conspicuous disappearance from her life just as she was evicted. “I’ve been tormented for the last two months — it was just an illegal eviction,” Kenya explains. “It’s like, every time I’m going through something, nobody even says, ‘Hey, you OK?’”
Leakes snapped back, saying: “First of all, I planned a wedding for 425 people, you didn’t reach out to me — so I’m going through things just like you’re going through things.”
Besides, Leakes added, “Surely, I couldn’t believe that she was homeless — not the person that has all these DVDs and producing everything all over the world, and you a top actress.”
She does have a point. Moore did seem to make it more dramatic than anything else.
Moreover, in addition to planning her wedding, Leakes is working on her business ventures and trying to rebound after her second show, “The New Normal” was canceled after one season.
Do you believe Leakes has a point, that Moore was being overly dramatic, as usual, or that Leakes should have at least reached out to Moore to ensure that she was OK?
