#BatKid photos
Twitter is currently being flooded with photos of a 5-year-old boy named Miles who wished to be Batman for a day. San Francisco has been transformed in Gotham City thanks to an estimated 12,000 volunteers who helped the Make-A-Wish Foundation make Miles’ dream come true. The tot whose leukemia is in remission, has been dubbed Batkid and his #SFBatKid and #BatKid hashtags are booming online.
So far Miles has donned the batman costume down to faux muscles, a mask and his own velcro sneakers to ride in a Lamborghini alongside Batman who’s been helping him fight crime for the day. He’s already saved a damsel in distress (below) from The Riddler and now he’s preparing to save The San Francisco Giant’s mascot from The Penguin. He also has a sidekick, his younger brother who was allowed to join in on the fun and dress as Robin.
A number of celebs have helped promote this special day for Batkid including President Obama who sent out the tweet below.
