Jay Z and Diddy benefit from Macy’s commitment to diversity

Major department stores are suffering heavy scrutiny after allegations of racism and prejudice against minorities have come out. Most recently, the teenage boy who was unreasonably questioned about an expensive purchase made with a debit card that belonged to him.

While isolated and shameful incidents like this do occur, it does not reflect the overall culture of the retail industry. Retailers like Macy’s have been committed to diversity and inclusion in both their advertising and promotion of brands owned by the likes of Jay Z and Diddy.


Macy’s, a high-end retailer, recognizes the necessity to not only reflect the customers in the people they hire and the ads they print but also the brands they promote.
