Tara Wallace before “Love & Hip Hop”
Before Tara Wallace was literally fighting for the affections of her baby’s father Peter Gunz on “Love & Hip Hop.” She was just a simple southern belle pursuing an acting career. Tara’s real name Taranasha Wallace, hails from Mississippi and is a graduate of Jackson State University. After getting her higher education, Wallace studied at NY’s Actors Studio Drama School and was heavily involved in musical and off-Broadway theater.
Most known for her relationship with Gunz who released the hit “Déjà Vu (Uptown Baby)” with Lord Tariq in 1998, Wallace is a mother of two boys—Jamison and Kaz. Relatively low key she is the manager of a hot-spot in NYC’s trendy meatpacking district.
