Let the church rejoice, Outkast is back! According to Diddy’s newest project, REvolt TV:
“Outkast will be reuniting in 2014 for performances across the US. The performances at multiple festival dates will mark Outkast’s first appearances onstage since 2004 and coincide with the 20-year anniversary of their debut album, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik.”
After continual prompting, Big Boi told Power 106 earlier this year that, “We’ve been kind of discussing some things (reunion)…Once we map it out, we’ll make an announcement. But we’ll see. It’s 20 years, man … I wanna see it too, I definitely wanna see it too. Mum’s the word right now but we gon’ see.”
Though details on exact dates are still unknown some suggest that the two long time friends will kick off their tour at Atlanta’s CounterPoint Festival in April, making them a contender for Coachella..
