After weeks of back and forth between his wife and TLC’s former manager Pebbles, LA Reid is stepping in and shutting down all of the rumors. Last week, rumors circled that Pebbles, who is threatening to sue VH1 and TLC for her portrayal in their acclaimed Vh1 biopic “CrazySexyCool,” claimed to get the girl group dropped from their new record deal with Epic Records.
Four short months ago, Chili and T-Boz signed a new record deal with Epic Records to work on a comeback album where their former boss and Pebbles’s husband, L.A. Reid serves as the Chairman and CEO. It wasn’t long before social media chimed in with their regrets and apologies to the girl group, who have not yet released an official statement.
