The 2013 Marketing to African Americans with Excellence (MAAX) Awards luncheon brought together industry leaders from all over the country to celebrate our sheroes and heroes.  Target Market News Founder Ken Smikle has been giving out the MAAX Awards annually for the last eight years to leading luminaries within the advertising community and this years honorees were clearly a stellar group. Rob Jackson, Director, US Marketing for McDonald’s was the featured speaker at the luncheon and shared his insights into past, present and most importantly the future of marketing to African Americans.
