Facing AIDS: It’s World AIDS Day so join the movement

I'm Facing AIDS & living with HIV, while others in the church are silent!
“I’m Facing AIDS and living with HIV, while others in the church are silent!”

December 1, World AIDS Day, is an opportunity to take action. More than 1.1 million people in the United States are living with HIV infection, and almost 1 in 5 (18.1 percent) are unaware of their infection. By race, blacks/African Americans face the most severe burden of HIV. Through Facing AIDS 2013, you and your community can help reduce stigma and promote HIV testing by putting a face to AIDS. Visit the site https://facing.aids.gov/gallery/, upload your photo in an effort to encourage testing, end judgment and promote acceptance.

Check out the photo gallery to see who’s already facing AIDS.
