Celebrities and philanthropic supporters gathered at HELP USA Domestic Abuse Women’s Shelter in Brooklyn, New York to join BlackCelebrityGiving.com (BCG) and Jamie Foster-Brown (Sister 2 Sister Magazine Publisher, Beauty For The Bold campaign ambassador and beauty bar host), for the first stop in the “Beauty For The Bold” national domestic violence awareness campaign tour. Presented by HairFinity nutritional supplements, the goal the “Beauty For The Bold” Beauty Bar was to pamper the women and children who have been victims of domestic violence and to provide beauty products that truly cater to their hair needs. The “Beauty For The Bold” national cause campaign will assemble and distribute care packages for over 100 domestic violence shelters.
Throughout December, the BlackCelebrityGiving.com “Beauty For The Bold” campaign will host several events, profile inspiring women, Twitter chats and forums on domestic violence to bring further awareness to the cause.
