Ja Rule has made it no secret that his time in prison was far from a hellish experience. In fact, he spent most of his time working on his degree and learning recipes that would inspire his upcoming cookbook. But according to a new rumor, Ja was also enjoying the semi-domestic life with his cellmate-turned-alleged-boyfriend. Although previous reports claim that Ja was leaving his wife of 12 years for his cellmate, he’s now shutting down those rumors and saying his marriage is fine.
The rumors of a gay love affair began when the blog creambmp.com quoted Ja’s wife, Aisha Atkins, as telling MTV that Ja was leaving her for his cellmate.
“He wrote all them love songs and still don’t know how to treat a b—-,” she was quoted as saying by Cream Bmp Daily blog, which apparently started the rumor. “We spent 10-plus years building our marriage but it only took him two to decide he’d rather suck a d— than be with his wife. … He returned home alright – to get his s— and leave.”
Not wanting to let the lie linger and grow, Ja recently used Twitter to set the record straight on his love life.

The rapper squashed the rumor yet again with an Instagram of him and his wife kissing and flipping the bird to all of his “haters.”
