Porsha and Kordell Stewart’s divorce
Porsha and Kordell Stewart are officially no longer married. Kordell Stewart’s attorney, Shiel Edlin, released a statement Thursday confirming that their divorce has been finalized.
“For reasons we cannot understand, [Porsha] displayed a reckless abandonment of anything close to the truth over the last eight months,” Edlin. “We are also hopeful that Porsha will stop vilifying Kordell at every opportunity.”
Edlin also added that Kordell is “very disappointed” the marriage fell apart, because he expected to be married for life.”
Kordell filed for divorce from Porsha in March of 2012. Porsha later said she was unaware that her husband had filed for divorce until she read about it on Twitter.
The couple wed in 2011.
