The Mega Millions jackpot grew to an estimated $400 million on Wednesday since no one won the jackpot of $344 million on Tuesday’s drawing.

The $400 million is the second largest pot in the game’s 17 year history. The largest jackpot in Mega Millions history was $656 million, won in March 2012 by three ticket holders in Kansas, Illinois and Maryland.

Tuesday’s numbers from that drawing were: 5, 12, 22, 41, 65 and and the mega ball 13. The next drawing is on Friday, December 13. Is it possible that someone will be lucky and hit the jackpot on a day that is considered to be unlucky?

Depending on the sales, Mega Millions officials are saying the jackpot could grow even larger.

Will you be purchasing a ticket on Friday the 13th? What would you do with $400+ million?
