Usually, progress in the LGBT community is focused around the G and L of the community. But this year the T, the Transgender section, saw themselves catapulted to the forefront of change thanks to major press attention paid to new media and Hollywood stars like Laverne Cox, Isis King, Carmen Carrera, Janet Mock and B. Scott.
