Mama Joyce may be “done” with Todd Tucker and Kandi Burruss’ wedding, but that doesn’t mean that we’re done watching her hate on the couple on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” In a preview clip of Sunday night’s upcoming episode, Joyce turns her attention from blasting Tucker to blasting Burruss’ BFF Phaedra Parks for introducing the couple to each other.
In the clip, Joyce pays a visit to Parks at her office and asks about getting legal advice on a prenuptial agreement. Joyce claims that, during her troubling dinner with Burruss and Tucker, Tucker claimed that he wouldn’t sign a prenuptial agreement, although, if we recall correctly, he only stated he wouldn’t agree to Joyce’s unprofessional terms.
But the conversation with Joyce and Parks didn’t stay peaceful for too long and Joyce randomly began railing on Parks for hooking them up.
“Why in the hell did you introduce them?” says Joyce. “Now, I’m going to be honest with you. With all these lawyers and everything else that you know, you gonna introduce her to one of the workers.”
“Personally, I would’ve never introduced my girlfriend to him,” Joyce added.
Parks claimed that “I knew Todd was the perfect guy for her. I knew that they would make a very cute couple.”
However, Joyce doesn’t think they’re a cute couple at all and she takes a cheap shot at them by making fun of their height.
“He’s little. He’s short. He’s got a big head,” she listed. “Kandi’s short. Hello. Two short people with big heads, you don’t introduce two short people with big heads.”
“You didn’t get no little short man with a big head,” Joyce added, referring to Parks’ husband, Apollo Nida.
Usually, the southern belle always has a charming or witty comeback but this time around the only word she could muster up the strength to say was “wow.”
Clearly, Joyce is unhappy about every aspect of Burruss’ relationship with Tucker, whether it be a valid concern, which viewers can’t seem to find any, or imaginary, melodramatic reasons, like his height.
But considering that Tucker and Burruss just got a pre-nup, Joyce better get used to the idea of calling Tucker her son-in-law. Check out some other rock in-law relationships below. – nicholas robinson
