Record number of black actors nominated for Screen Actors Guild Award®: Complete list

Nominees for the 20th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® for outstanding performances in 2013 in five film and eight television categories as well as the SAG Awards honors for outstanding action performances by film and television stunt ensembles have been announced.

Black actors (actresses) have put in work this year and it has paid off. From Oscar-winning actor Forest Whitaker (The Butler) to newcomer Lupita Nyong’o (12 Years a Slave), the accolades are coming in.
