Todd comes back to Kandi’s play
Since Todd backed out of doing her play, Kandi and her team are struggling to pull the play together in the 10 weeks they have left. Though Todd is out of it, he goes with Kandi as she scouts the Rialto Theater as a potential site to hold her musical. Kandi is in love with the intimate setting, but she’s not in love with Todd constantly being distracted by his new New York job. However, Todd shocks Kandi when he reveals that he hates his new gig and that he’s willing to work on her play again. Kandi is overjoyed and glad that she and Todd can finally work on building their empire again.
