Tahiry Answers Joe’s Proposal
The episode picks up right where things left off last week with Joe getting down on one knee and proposing to Tahiry in the middle of Times Square in front of their families and a crowd of people. Tahiry begs Joe not to do it, but he asks her to marry him anyway. Tahiry tells him that she still can’t trust him and that he’s asking to marry her without having put in the proper work to show that he’s earned her heart. Joe points out that she’s basically saying “no” to him and he confesses that he’s confused about what Tahiry wants from him if she won’t give him a chance to prove his love. Joe walks off and Tahiry is left in tears as her family consoles her.
