Macklemore and Ryan Lewis and Madonna
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis won big when it came to awards and they did an even finer job when it came time to hit the stage to performe their pro-gay hit “Same Love.” The performance hit iconic levels when Queen Latifah proceeded to officiate 33 straight and same-sex marriages on stage while Madonna joined Macklemore onstage to perform a mash-up of “Same Love” and “Open Your Heart” as the couples kissed and jumped the broom in front of the whole room. By the end of it all, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis had stolen the show and, once again, stolen the hearts of America.
