A 12-year-old is clinging to life after being shot at a church in North Carolina. According to reports by the Associated Press, 12-year-old Nyreek Horne and three other teens were shot at World Tabernacle Church in Rocky Mount.
The shooting occurred while Horne and the teens were playing basketball.More than 15 shots were fired when the teens were hit. Horne was shot in the eye and the bullet exited out of the back of his brain. He was rushed to the hospital where he remains in critical condition. The other injured teens were ages 13, 17 and 19.
Witnesses say the gunman drove away in an SUV. Police are offering a $5,000 for more information on the whereabouts of the shooter.
