Winning Powerball ticket
A Californian woke up today with the sole winning Powerball ticket in their possession. Lottery officials confirm that the winning ticket for the $425 million Powerball jackpot was sold at a Northern California convenience store.
Wednesday’s numbers were 17, 35, 49, 54 and a Powerball of 34.
The ticket carries a cash option of $242.2 million.
In addition to the jackpot winner, 17 tickets in the U.S. won $1 million and one lucky ticket won a $2 million prize.
