One detriment to Rick Ross’ music is that he can sometimes rely too heavily on his own cliches. And in the case of God Forgives…it feels like Rozay is trying to hard to repeat the success of the superior Deeper Than Rap and Teflon Don. Unfortunately, it doesn’t meet that album’s lofty standards.
