Marlo Hampton disses NeNe Leakes
After NeNe Leakes declared that Marlo Hampton was a “perfect match” for Kenya Moore because of her devious ways, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” associate fired back in a blog post. As previously reported NeNe Leakes released a lengthy rant against Hampton via a personal blog after the two nearly came to blows at a charity sporting event. Leakes is apparently none too pleased that her former bridesmaid is getting cozy with her nemesis, Kenya Moore.
“A so-called friend that fraternizes with the enemy is an opportunist in my opinion. They smile in your face, but are looking to take your place,” Leakes wrote.
“Do I care that Manlow and Krayonce are friends? Absolutely not! I think they are the perfect match! Marlo has officially graduated from hungry to thirsty. I’m sure Krayonce promised her a role in one of the multimillion dollar movies she produces. Kenya has nothing but deceitful, evil intentions and Marlo fell for them! I want nothing to do with either of them,” she later added.
In addition to dubbing Marlo “Manlow” and calling her an opportunist, Leakes brought up the reality star’s criminal past. Hampton was previously arrested for writing bad checks, aggravated battery causing bodily harm with a weapon and probation violation. She has at least seven mug shots related to the charges.
Acknowledging her criminal past, Hampton wrote in her MusingsFromTheBoudoir blog that Leakes too has a past that includes stripping and lap dancing.
“I’ve never claimed to be perfect, flawless or without regrets,” wrote Hampton. “Definitely not the fake bleached blond with the bold ambitions! She talks about my past incarceration;, her past includes pole sliding, lap dancing, lights, cameras and action! Which one of us is worse? Both of us have come a long way since then haven’t we? Good thing we took advantage of ‘opportunities,’ ” she added.
Hampton then acknowledged their blowup writing that her feelings were hurt and things escalated further after Leakes threw water at her.
“I’ll never forget where I came from. It’s what keeps me grinding toward a future of bigger and better things,” wrote Hampton. “That’s why I became so emotional when confronting the drag queen impersonator. When I went to speak to her I genuinely wanted to express my disappointment that I hadn’t been asked to join her team with the other bridesmaids. That really hurt me. But in order to get past it, I wanted to initiate a truce.”
“Sometimes friends have disagreements, and then they forgive and forget. I have said many times I looked up to her like a big sister and valued our relationship, so I wanted to break the ice, kiss and make up. However, when the water was thrown at me, along with the nasty attitude, I wasn’t having it!” wrote Hampton.
The lengthy blog posts includes teasing about Leakes’ “Donald Trump style” wig and allegations that the “very rich” housewife stole Hampton’s style.
The two ladies, who continue to argue like middle schoolers, will return to television Sunday, March 2 for a new episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” on Bravo.
