For days now, rumors have been floating around that Robin Thicke is desperately trying to repair his broken marriage and get his wife, Paula Patton, to stop her plans to divorce him. And though nothing was ever confirmed before, Thicke made it known in a major way that he is indeed trying to win Patton back.
Yesterday, TMZ photographers caught up with Thicke in an airport in Washington D.C., where he performed last night, and the singer readily opened up about his hopes for saving his marriage with the site.
“I’m just trying to get her back,” Thicke told the photographers, as he continued his silent walk through the airport.
The photographers asked Thicke if his performance with Miley Cyrus caused the split, but he denied that Cyrus was to blame for anything.
Thicke’s confessional moments didn’t end there. Later on at his show, Thicke poured his heart out to his fans as well while he performed his hit song “Lost Without U,” which he wrote for Patton.
“For y’all that don’t know me and my wife separated, but I’m trying to get my girl back. She’s a good woman,” Thicke told the crowd, while still wearing his wedding ring.
It’s safe to say that fans of the couple are definitely rooting for them and we hope Thicke does win her back. Check out some couples who did reconcile after a major breakup after the cut. –nicholas robinson
