On Saturday, Feb. 22 at the Children’s Aid Society Milbank Dunley in Harlem, Tiny Pants Kids and Industry Kids Events hosted “Super Fun Saturday,” a day of entertainment and education that honed in on the “power of play.”
Emphasizing entrepreneurship through various workshops by Yay9, jewelry making by @Jewelry4Girlz, a graffiti art station by @UncuttArt, and candling by @Yuuniqcandles, the kids participated in these workshops and jumped around — literally. From bounce houses, gaming stations, gymnastics and a reading corner, even some star celebrity kids (Diesel’s Tristen and Tyler), artists Daisha and Wink Loc stopped by to enjoy the festivities and Waffle Life surprised the guests with a few performances.
Attendees also got a chance to visit various vendors at SFS including La Bella Morenita, Pixie Club Collection, Lil Miss Pretty House of Glam, Too Scoop Kids, TreeHouse Books, Lala’s Cupcake and Chloe’s Concierges.
Parents were pampered by Nail Lounge and enjoyed special adult juice, courtesy of Belaire Rose. Food and beverage sponsors included Ricardo’s Ocean Grill, Harlem Shake and Brooklyn Swirl.
Some lucky kids got to go home with a swag bag with items from Melo Glo gel candles, Miss Jessie’s, Mod Squad, Spray Ground, My Gym, Ella Mila Polish, Lizpia Designs, Big Russ Barbershop, Lefemme Suite, Do Right Do Good, From fatherless to fatherhood produced by the Kobie Chronicles, and Alerte Carter & Associates.
