During rehearsals for the 1999 “VH1 Divas Live,” music legends and close friends Tina Turner and Elton John found themselves at odds when Turner attempted to persuade John to play the piano a certain way during the performance, which led to a heated verbal battle and John storming off stage. John later apologized, but Turner cancelled their world tour together and the two have allegedly been distant since that time.
